Now I am confused. The livegps plugin does not work as ist does before (message 3201)

Tested configuration

livegps loaded, surveyor plugin not loaded

When I activate 'Captue Gps Track' of the livegps submenue a window pops up:
Disable plugin
am unexpected exception occurred that may have come from the 'livegps' plugin.....
Should the plugin be disabled

Disable plugin Cancel

selecting Cancel the window

The problem is I cannot reproduce any of the problems.

I checked in a new version of livegps (16933) fixing some other issues. Does the problem still appear for you? If yes, please add a new report.

Does it also appear when you only have livegps active? Maybe there is a strange interaction with other plugins.

Please don't open individual tickets for this - it makes it complicate to follow.

Please explain step-by-step what you do starting with the initial start of josm. Please attach your prefs (strip username/password). In what area do you work.

The problem is, that the bug you have sticks in the josm core in a place where no data from the livegps plugin is used as input. So it seems livegps is only a trigger for another bug which is somehow related to the dataset you use.

Ok, it seems I found a reason. The bug appears when there is no data layer. It disappears when you use <CTRL>+<N> before you start logging? Correct?
