Description (last modified by )
Currently after applying the "Split node" (shortcut key: "g") action to a node all the newly created nodes are selected afterwards. The majority of use cases would be to move at least one node away (At least I found myself selecting one single node after applying that action all the time).
This is a feature request to only select one of the newly created node after using that action

I am tempted to set this to wontfix.
To select only one node seems quite arbitrary to me. One can easily do that by double-clicking one of the nodes in the selection panel.
