Validator returns error with way highway=pedestrian without area=yes
Josm 1529: OK
Josm 1537 and 1541: Error: Area style way is not closed. - Painting problem

Same (same validator warning, same painting problems) happens with barrier=city_wall, barrier=fence, barrier=hedge, barrier=wall, barrier=retaining_wall.

JOSM trys to render it as an area and the validator say that area is not closed
