Description (last modified by )
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I've noted this while mapping gas pipelines. I use either a preset or the standard add tag Dialog for this.
Reproduced with empty JOSM directory.
- Create empty data layer and add 6 new nodes with the tags marker=post + utility=gas
- Select 1st node and add tag operator "Exxon Mobil" (with blank)
- Select 2nd node and add tag operator="EWE"
- Select 3nd node and add tag operator="ExxonMobil" (no blank)
- Select 4th node and add tag operator="Gasunie"
- Select 5th node and add tag operator="Ex", note that autocompletion selects "ExxonMobil"
- Select 6th node and use preset Man Made/Pipeline/Marker and type "Ex" in the operator field
What is the expected result?
Both steps 5 and 6 should result in operator "ExxonMobil" as this was the last value that I typed starting with these characters.
What happens instead?
It seems the preset always selects the value "Exxon Mobil" with blank and I have to manually remove the blank.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
Not sure if this is intended behaviour? Didn't look at the code yet.
