Description

Hi there,

I would like to tag data better in OSM, specifically regarding ATMs/cash machines.

I have the following data for many banks
Exact Name, Address, Operator, latitude, longitude, availability of ATM i.e. atm=yes

This data comes directly from the websites of the banks itself where they provide the list of their ATMs with the above information, I am happy to share the links also for your verifying of source.

Is there a way I can upload this information together?

Please carefully read ​https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Import regarding the legal situation. If in doubt ask in the forum or mailing lists (see WikiStart).

Nowadays I'd say unattended upload of such information is no longer ok. Best way forward probably is to convert you data into an layer and compare this layer with the current dataset to spot missing information. Then add this information (in most cases probably not creating new nodes, but assigning the ATM to already existing elements).

Also for how to progress better ask in forums.

Action
as closed The owner will remain team.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
