Description
With precision touchpads, right clicking and dragging unfortunately does not work. Instead, clicking and dragging with two fingers is interpreted as left click and drag. I've reported this problem to Microsoft, however it is unclear if they'll fix this anytime soon - or at all. Therefore i ask you to add an option that allows JOSM to be used without right click and drag (e.g. by moving the map with two fingers and zooming by pinching/spreading).

Replying to taylor.smock:
With that said, we do support moving the mapview using the keyboard. Default is
ctrl+ <direction arrow>.
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, this is less convenient than dragging with two fingers (especially while drawing), as the hand has to be moved away from the touchpad and back again.
Maybe another solution were that dragging with one finger (i.e. left click and drag) would move the map instead of selecting objects. (Selecting could be shift + left click and drag.)

I don't believe we can currently detect gestures from the touchpad without adding a third-party library, which would be platform specific.
