MultiMonitor Setup - doesn't store the settings of the windows

I noticed if the Monitors are not exactly identical resolution - the windows on the monitor that shows the main window that says top left:"Java OpenStreetMap Editor (@osm_name) all the "undocked" windows on that monitor are properly shown after closing JOSM and then opening JOSM the next day.

On the other window - where the main window isn't open - the undocked windows are shown correctly if the other window is exactly the same resolution.

if different - then the difference causes an offset which mis-aligns then these windows.

For me this is a major issue - so I put the priority major.. as I every day before I can start JOSM are first busy 30-40min to re-align the windows properly..

given the fact for mapping I have about an hour some days, it means I lose already 60% of the time I have - for just aligning the windows.

then another 10-15 minutes to download the data from OSM Servers - as here in Asia due to latency it takes a long time..

Some times i lose an hour.. don't edit at all - and can close JOSM already again and go to work - because it took already 30-40min just to align the windows again...

Status Report I can't upload..

any hints what specifically you're looking for then I cut/paste just that section

The status report should not be more than 200000 characters. For me it's 14819, see Help/Action/ShowStatusReport.

I need to know what version, system, settings, ... you have to understand what's going on. Obviously it does not happen on my system, so it must be special to your setup.

Well my status report is really huge..

And I get it from "help" and then "Show Status Report" and then "Copy to Clipboard and Close"

That's what I paste then.

Anyway - there's a huge "iodb.stored.offsets"... so I'll delete them then

Also the huge list of "mirror.<josm.cache>\images.https://"

I'll remove them too then..

Ah, the map with AI plugin creates a zillion characters in the status repor - I'll kick that out too

Yeah. A lot of the mirror entries may be from before I changed how the MapWithAI plugin cached service files -- I switched from CachedFile to a JCS cache (so you shouldn't have 100+ mirror.https://services6.arcgis.com/[...snip...] entries in the status report). They still exist in advanced preferences (I want to say I'm resetting them to clear them out in the future).

Unfortunately, I'm also using roughly the same code that the imagery preferences uses (mapwithai.sources.entries and imagery.entries are very similar in terms of format, so someone activating a non-worldwide imagery will also have a large status report). I think most of the size from mapwithai.sources.entries comes from the FB roads layer (I'm programmatically building the source area using the country polygons in JOSM). I'll see if I can figure out a good way to decrease the size from mapwithai.sources.entries.

EDIT: The issue of the MapWithAI plugin making the status report too big should be fixed in ​v1.9.11. The character count for mapwithai.sources.entries went from ~464k to ~6.8k. Which isn't great (the total report was ~26k), but is roughly similar to imagery.entries (~9k with wiki:"Maps/USA States#MesaCountyGISValleywide2020" added to the list).
