Full-screen pop-up on latest Mac OS

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. clicking a node on a way
2. P-key to split way

What is the expected result?

small pop-up window appears asking which of the new sections should re-use the history of the way

What happens instead?

full-screen pop-up window, with inactive tick boxes

JOSM 17084. Latest Mac OS 11.0.1 Big Sur, installed to replace Catalina yesterday on iMac desktop computer.
