What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Open JOSM.app built using OpenJDK 13.0.1 on macOS with Oracle Java 1.8.0
  2. Download
  3. Select Slippy Map tab

What is the expected result?

Not to crash

What happens instead?

It crashed

The error is in the bug description. Please build JOSM with Java 8.
