A way to organize filters in JOSM for different projects

I was wondering if there was a possibility of making a way to organize filters for different projects. I work on multiple project and keeping my filters organized becomes increasingly difficult. My thought was, you could have a folder named(project1) and when you open that folder it has all of the filters you would use for that project.

I think this addition would help a lot of mappers stay more organized and would help them improve the efficiency/quality of their work. I would love to hear your thoughts on it!

It would be too complex to add separate settings per functionality. Best solution is to start JOSM with different preferences file:

java -jar josm.jar --load-preferences=/path/to/project1/preferences.xml
java -jar josm.jar --load-preferences=/path/to/project2/preferences.xml

Have two shortcuts on your desktop for these two projects and you can customize other functionalities as well (shortcuts, etc.).
