Description
JOSM version 14760 (from Debian)
pt_assistant Version 2.1.10
Tram routes with node members with role 'platform' and 'railway=tram_stop' tag (only) cause a "PT: Relation member roles do not match tags" warning from PT assistant plugin.
In the docs at https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/JOSM/Plugins/PT_Assistant#Criteria_for_platforms_and_stop_positions_.28PTStop.29: it's written that 'highway=bus_stop' and 'railway=platform' cause a node to be valid for a platform role. Certainly 'railway=tram_stop' belongs to this list as well.

I agree with Woazboat after reading up a bit on the matter. Issue should be closed as wontfix.

For bus routes,
highway=bus_stop
is and was used for both the stop location on the road and the platform besides the road, this is whyhighway=bus_stop
is considered as a valid platform tag. This was never the case for railway routes whererailway=tram_stop
is only supposed to be used for the stop position on the track itself andrailway=platform
is used to tag the platform beside the track.railway=tram_stop
should therefore not be considered a valid tag for a platform.
