Wrong character encoding in Fedora Linux

Description

I get a lot of "????????" in the console on Fedora Linux with Russian language enabled. The console charset is utf-8. I think a while ago it was okay. How can I help you debug this?

How do you start josm?

"java -jar ~/josm-latest.jar" from terminal.

What's you "LANG" setting? This looks much like #14596.

Okay, this was a locale issue. Fixed it by installing "glibc-langpack-ru" package, if anybody comes here with a similar issue.
