What steps will reproduce the problem?
ex) Presets->Annotation->Address->addr:city
What is the expected result?
Can't type Korean
What happens instead?
Can't type Korean
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
It isn't certain that whether this is the problem of my IME(fcitx) or JOSM.
I'm using default IME of Ubuntu, fcitx.

ray, this input field has autocompletion, which might possibly interfere with fcitx. You can try again in a plain input field (e.g. Preferences > GPS points > drawing width of GPX lines) or another Java application. If it works in any of those, then it would be a JOSM bug.
We do nothing fancy concerning character input. The issue either comes from your IME or the OpenJDK Debian package.
