Load folders containing pictures in separate layers

Description

Hi !

When you select more than one pictures' folders, and you drag & drop them on the Josm window, it loads all the images in the same layer.
I know several cases where it would be more interesting to load them in different layers :

  • Mapping party with pictures from different contributors
  • pictures with different angles (from a multicam system)
  • ...

Could it be possible to have a modifier key (Alt ?) to load the images on separate layers named with the foler name?
ie: I drag & drop cindy, bob, marc folders on Josm with the alt key pressed and I get the geotaged pictures loaded in cindy, bob and marc layer.

In the meantime, I wrote a python script to send many folders with images on separate Josm layers. That's not ideal as you have to relaunch the script if you change some photo's location.

Tested with python 2.7 and 3.6 on windows and linux

In 18248/josm:

fix #15498 - Load folders containing pictures in separate layers if geoimage.one-layer-per-folder advanced property is set to true

With r18248 I can't find the geoimage.one-layer-per-folder advanced property in Advanced preferences, I had to add it manually. Is this intended?

Replying to StephaneP:

Default settings are usually only added after initialization. You need to open one image before these settings show up.
