JOSM suddenly shows an error dialog box

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Trying to zoom in and out of a large map (Entire Singapore city, but the rectangle bound box contains some of the areas in Johor, Malaysia which I need to remove them all.)

It is quite random issue on my Macbook Pro with 16GB RAM.

What is the expected result?

Able to view freely, I would like to be able to view the map by dragging in the manner similar to Google Map instead of click and zoom in. Zoom out and then click in order to view neighbouring areas that is removed in the zoom view.

What happens instead?

The dialog box came out.
