#12779 closed enhancement (fixed)

Anonymize program arguments when reporting an issue

Reported by: toni.oliv@… Owned by: Don-vip
Priority: normal Milestone: 16.04
Component: Core bugreport Version:
Keywords: privacy Cc: naoliv

Description

As can be seen at #12778, the Program arguments wasn't anonymized.
It would be good to remove the directory (and maybe even the filename) from the status report (and thus also when reporting an issue).

There is a similar problem for local presets/styles/rules, which are now also in the statusreport.
There was already r10138, but it seems it did not really work, becasue #12757 was created with version r10144, which includes users folder paths.

[10138] only deals with the line VM arguments: *. Apparently it needs to be extended to other parts of the status report.

No it was "Program" arguments, they're not the same. Now it is fixed.

Is your Windows login name equals to "Stefan" or not? If not we can't do anything more.
