Statusbar undescriptive about all "move" "select" modes

Description

Basically, it's static, no matter what current cursor/mode is, it always suggests very same tip:

I don't know what exactly the problem in this ticket is.

Is it:

  • Switching to a different mode like Extrude does not change the tip.
    • If so, this ticket is fixed and has been for some time. I think this is what the reporter was having an issue with, but I'm not seeing different (non-Select) modes in the gif.
  • When in Select mode, using the modifier keys does not change the tip.
    • If so, I don't think we need to worry about it. The tip should cover all the features of Select mode

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain openstreetmap.org-user-d1g.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
