imagery.wms.default_autozoom not working anymore

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. add to the preferences: imagery.wms.default_autozoom=false
2. add a WMS Layer to the editing session

What is the expected result?

should default to autozoom=no

What happens instead?

ignores the setting and activates autozoom

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
