Description (last modified by )
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Use Linux
- Set JOSM to use GTK+ "Look and feel" (Preferences -> Display Settings -> Look and Feel)
- Use a GTK+ theme with light text and dark background.
- Use imagery that triggers message "Aerial Imagery ... might be misaligned".
- Observe unreadable text
same problem for notifications:
What is the expected result?
The text should either be readable, or the background color in question should be configurable in Preferences -> Display Settings -> Colors
What happens instead?
I have not been able to find a place where I can configure said background color, though I may be missing it, since the colors are sometimes really hard to read in the list in preferences (light on light).
See attached screen shot.

Replying to Don-vip:

You are correct. they are hard to read too, though not quite as bad due to the semi-transparent nature of them resulting in the (usually) somewhat darker imagery helping.
