No progress bar while downloading plugins

While there is a progress bar when we download a plugin, it doesn't get updated.
For example, I was downloading RoadSigns but didn't see any progress in JOSM (I could see that the file was growing in ~/.josm/plugins, but not in JOSM).

Sorry to reopen (I guess I missed some info in the original ticket).

Right now it's possible to see this:

The blue progress bar keeps running from one side to the other one, but it's still not possible to know how much we already have downloaded nor how much is remaining.

In the console I can see that the current plugin has 12.9 MB

But there is no way to see an ETA, for example.
