Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Starting up Josm with a data file on the command line gives `an unexpected error occurred...'. Starting up without a data file gives the error when I try to do anything, such as loading a background map.
What is the expected result?
What happens instead?
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
Since previous startup of Josm nothing was changed in Josm (problem occurred with the old version of Josm I had, updating didn't help) or its environment.

Your status report is incomplete, if it's reproducible, can you please see what's written after "java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException"? We need the full stacktrace to investigate.
