Description (last modified by )
The current way to see the next way it's by selecting them. We have the third column where we can see if the way is connected or not, but we don't know, if the ways it's not connected or if the order it's not good, where it's the next way.
If we had a way that when we select one way, we also get a preview of the next and previous way, this could help us boost our productivity.
I find it complicated to fix routes where the order just does not make any sense, and i prefere to delete the whole route and recreated once again, then repair the old one.

This is a strech goal where, if the line it`s far away, as it happens in long relations, you will know at least in what direction the next segment of the relation is

The sort icon is misleading. I remember when I used JOSM for the first time long ago, to believe the same thing, that it was about an alphabetical sorting. We should find a better one.

What about https://thenounproject.com/search/?q=sequence&i=21741 with numbers 1, 2 in red placed next to the connections?

(Anyone knows the source of the libre office icons? I was not able to find it.)
On Arch Linux they are part of the package gnome-icon-theme
and placed in /usr/share/icons/gnome/48x48/actions/view-sort-ascending.png
and similar.
