#11329 closed enhancement (fixed)

Discourage oneway=-1

Reported by: stoecker Owned by: team
Priority: normal Milestone: 15.04
Component: Core validator Version:
Keywords: Cc:

Description

The tagging oneway=-1 is ugly and hard to understand for software using the data.

JOSM should issue a validator warning about it and suggest to reverse the way instead.

+1

It seems the only reson for -1 are rare cases like this

Are all direction depended tags handled properly during way reverse or are there outstanding issues?

comment:2 by stoecker, 9 years ago

Hmm, probably we should indicate in text that user calls reverse himself instead of auto-fixing?

@Klumbumbus:

Can you add a warning? Telling to reverse way as fix?
