Along r8144 I would appreciate to also add ship (​taginfo) and canoe (​taginfo) to the waterway presets to by in sync with the ​access wiki page.

I did attach a patch​. I am unsure if water access is also used for locks but taginfo does not show any numbers like all max* mentioned on ​Tag:waterway=river.

I think you should tag the access tags on the waterway-way between the first and last lockgate-node.
