Description
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- open josm, push download and select map from bookmarks has very small region of luoyang with values: 112.4209595,34.6556854,112.4209671,34.6556892) => map will load with one visible node
- since this is an incredible small region, there is no background map available, but no problem so far
- activating bing background and start zooming out to get visible background will work
- select a region and push download button
- download will start, shows the first structures and then crash
Maybe the data of this region is corrupted, dunno
What is the expected result?
What happens instead?
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.
10 Minutes ago, i reported a similar bug with a different exception, but somehow it seems to be the same issue

Please, add the full error log as it should be automatically offered with an exception. Otherwise we do not know where the error occurs.
There seems to be a problem with SUSE (see 10989#comment:6) so maybe a more up to date version of openjdk 1.7 could solve the problem.

SUSE repos do not offer a newer version, so i pick your idea to send the stdout/err from the console. In the middle of all messages, you will see a comment from me. It signals, where i pushed the button to start the download.

hmm, seems to depend on the selected region.
This one was even a little bigger, but worked:

Closed as duplicate of #10989.
Same error in handling foreign language code as I reported.

Please try to load the file in #10989 and report if you get the same error.

just info: yes must be the language. It happens, not always, but while passing certain, named chinese streets. Other areas have no problems.
