downloading data in new version r7643 is impossible

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. open JOSM
2. download from OSM... (any extent or bookmark)

What is the expected result?

loading OSM data

What happens instead?

endless loop with fickering display.
JOSM dons't load OSM data correctly.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

also testet on a win 8.1 64-bit system. same critical problem!

Cannot reproduce. Can you try without continuosDownload plugin enabled?

You are right.
No problems, when "continuosDownload" is not loaded.

It seems, that continuosDownload plugin needs an update to work with r7643.
