Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+V

Paste the contents of the clipboard,
at the mouse pointer position into the active data layer:

• all nodes and parent objects will be preserved as they were selected (relative position is kept)
• links in the data (node-way and way-relation, node-relation) will be respected but only if they were selected; cloned objects will have (new) links similar to copied objects

To copy objects at known node

If you want to duplicate an object in exactly the same place as the first object:

1. Select the initial object
2. Zoom to selection. {3}
3. Move mouse cursor out of the editing window, paste object
