+Here, "projection" probably means a projection to which OSM data is translated before being displayed on the screen.
+Ticket #5387 comments 7 and 9 state that, unlike Merkaartor, JOSM cannot translate raster projections, only vector.
+Hence, all the raster scan overlays that you use in this case must support the projection that you set here.
+Consequently, either JOSM forces their servers to use that projection or one has to force them manually.
