    5 The wmsplugin allows you to use various sources as a background layer in the main window.  Once the plugin is installed it causes a new checkbox option "WMS background images" to be displayed in the [wiki:Help/Action/Download Download Dialog].  Depending on what is set as the WMS source, as detailed below, various background images will then be available for download and display in the main window.
     5The wmsplugin allows you to use various sources as a background layer in the main window.  Clicking on a green WMS menu item will automatically download the image from the server. Servers can be added and edited using the WMSplugin Preference Tab  in the [wiki:Help/Action/Preferences preferences ]. Any new servers or changes would then displayed on the main WMS menu. By default, Landsat and NPE menu items are added.
