Help/Action/PhotoAdjustMapMode
v2 v3 1 [[TranslatedPages(Work iin Progress)]]2 1 = Map Mode = 3 [[Image(source:trunk/images/mapmode/zoom.png,link=)]] ''No keyboard shortcut'' — is the [wikitr:/Help/EditToolbar working mode] of the PhotoAdjust plugin4 [osm:applications/editors/josm/plugins/photoadjust/images/photoadjust.png osm]5 2 6 The Photo Adjust Map Mode is to place images on the map . They can be moved and can get georeferenced.3 The Photo Adjust Map Mode is to place images on the map and giving them a geographic reference, i.e. by geotagging them. 7 4 8 Click and drag a photo in the Map View to move it. 5 [[Image(osm:source:applications/editors/josm/plugins/photoadjust/images/photoadjust.png,left,link=)]] 6 It is the [wikitr:/Help/EditToolbar working mode] of the [osmwiki:JOSM/Plugins/PhotoAdjust PhotoAdjust plugin] – ''Keyboard shortcut: none'' 9 7 10 Hold **`Shift`** and click to place the image 11 currently shown in the ''Geotagged Images'' window at the mouse pointers position on the map. 8 [[TranslatedPages]] 12 9 13 Hold **`Ctrl`** and click on the map to set the direction the image currently shown in the ''Geotagged Images'' window. 10 Click and drag a photo already shown in the Map View to move it to a new location. 11 This sets temporarily a new georeference for the image. 14 12 15 If aGeotaggedimages layer is activated, then the functionality is limited to the photos on that layer.13 Hold **`Shift`** and click on the map to place the image currently shown in the [wikitr:/Help/Dialog/ImageViewer Geotagged Images] window at the mouse pointers position. 16 14 15 Hold **`Ctrl`** and click on the map to set the direction the image currently shown in the Geotagged Images window. 17 16 18 == Modes Of Operation == 19 The functionality of the photo adjust plugin is available if a photo layer (''Geotagged Images'', geo image layer) is active or if the photo adjust map mode is active. 17 ==== Modes Of Operation ==== 20 18 21 === Photo Adjust Map Mode === 22 The map mode works with all photos. It can be activated by selecting the map mode button. If the photo adjust map mode and a photo layer are active at the same time, then the photo layer has precedence, i.e. only the photos on the selected layer can be adjusted. 19 The functionality described above is available: 20 * For **all** images in Map mode. 21 * For images on a Geotagged images layer **only** if that layer is [wikitr:/Help/Dialog/LayerList#ActivateLayer activated]. 22 * An active layer has precedence, only its photos can be adjusted. 23 23 24 In Map mode clicking on a image can change the ''source layer'' of the Geotagged Images viewer. 25 The viewer does not display which source layer it uses. 26 Navigating between images on several layers can get very confusing in this case. 27 To change the source layer directly see or use **`Ctrl+Alt+J`⤳`[0-9]`**. 24 28 25 === Edit Photo GPS Data === 26 GPS related properties of the selected photo can be edited with the GPS data editor. Open the editor with ''Edit photo GPS data'' in the JOSM ''Edit'' menu. 29 ==== Additional ==== 27 30 28 Features of the GPS data editor: 29 * All changes are temporary. 30 * The position on the map reflects the current ''Coordinates''. 31 * ''Undo'' discards all changed made in the dialog. 32 * ''Reload'' re-reads the GPS data from the image file. 33 * ''OK'' sets the values for the photo and closes the dialog. The values are not written to the image file. 34 * ''Cancel'' discards all changed made in the dialog and closes it. 31 To separate photos without GPS coordinates use [[Image(osm:source:applications/editors/josm/plugins/photoadjust/images/untaglayer.png,16,top,link=)]] [wikitr:/Help/Menu/PhotoLayer#Newlayeruntagged New layer for untagged images] on the Geoimage layer containing them. 35 32 36 == Additional Photo Layer Menu Items == 37 [[File:PhotoAdjust_geoimage_layer_menu.png|right|200px]] 38 The plugin adds a menu item to photo layers. The menu item ''New layer for untagged images'' moves all photos without GPS coordinates to a new layer ''Untagged Images''. This makes it easier to work only on the untagged photos. 33 To directly edit the georeference of a photo in JOSM use [wikitr:/Help/Action/PhotoPropertyEditor$PropertyEditor Edit photo GPS data] in the [wikitr:/Help/Menu/Edit Edit] menu. 39 34 40 == Tips == 35 To write the georeference from JOSM to the image files use [[Image(osm:source:applications/editors/josm/plugins/photo_geotagging/images/geotagging.png,16,top,link=)]] [wikitr:/Help/Menu/PhotoLayer Write coordinates to image header] on the Geoimage layer containing them. 41 36 42 === Turn off "Center View" === 43 [[File:GeotaggedImageViewer_CenterView.png|right|200px]] 44 The plugin works best if the "Center View" option of the "Geotagged Images" viewer is turned off. If this is not done you may find it difficult to place the photos on the map with the desired level of precision as as soon as you place the photo the map will move to center over the new location, at which point your cursor is now somewhere else on the map, which causes the photo to move, which repeats the entire process. 37 Photo adjusting works best if the [[Image(source:trunk/images/dialogs/centreview.png,16,nolink)]] Center View option of the Geotagged Images viewer is turned off. 38 45 39 ---- 46 40 Back to [wikitr:/Help/EditToolbar Edit Toolbar] \\
