Joining areas creates multipolygons were they shouldn't be

I have noticed a new glitch in JOSM 7000. When joining several building segments drawn with building_tools, sometimes they create a multipolygon. If you zoom in, you can see that if you draw both segments from the same node, they will not be drawn in the exact same angle, which was the case before. This is really annoying and makes drawing buildings a chore.
