We had this problem with all dialogs but it got fixed some time ago. Seems to me this dialog was not adjusted.

Replying to Don-vip:
Can you test some older versions to see approximately where did it stop working? I don't remember any related change recently.
Actually, I am not sure if it did ever work with this dialog but can try to find a working version.

it works with other dialogs? I'll try to see if there's something special with this one, then.

I did try several dialogs. Add tags, Edit tags, Download dialog and Relation manage (except roles) do work.
Upload, Download, add node and roles in relation manager do not work. There seems to be a different behaviour about selecting the fields + highlighting focus and paste buffer

Sorry, Download dialog does not work reproduced trying to paste an URL into "around BBox" with an already existing URL.

Even nicer would be the same behaviour than download object(s) where the dialog is autofilled with the clipboard's buffer content without influencing middle mouse copy. This way I would be able to add two nodes in a row.
