connecting ways: different results + no conflict about different relation roles with id:0

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. select two connected ways (one with id:0) which are both part of a route relations but with different roles (backward and none)
2. connect them and look at result
3. undo
4. select both in changed order
5. connect them and look at result.

What is the expected result?

A conflict is raised about the different roles

What happens instead?

You get two different results depending on the order of selection

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible.

Note: After splitting a way you will have a way with id:0. E.g. it is not save to keep the results for the way with positive id.
