Notes window not respecting unclicked 'Dynamic buttons in side menus' preference

Just noticed a minor bug with the notes plugin. It isn't respecting the 'Dynamic buttons in side menus' preference in the 'Look and Feel' area of the Display settings of JOSM if you have that box unclicked. Every other plugin that I have installed that can create a side menu respects the unclicked preference, but the notes plugin doesn't for some odd reason and shows the extra button in the side menu.

Hope this will be an easy fix.
