Description

Naive way to do this is to read content of "<div class="sidebar-alert">" from ​http://www.openstreetmap.org/ in case of failed upload and every X minutes.

The design has changed. We need to know how the alerts will be displayed before even thinking of an implentation. Can you save and attach the HTML file of osm.org next time the API is offline ?
