#9188 closed defect (invalid)

Way relation change doesn't constitute as uploadable change in selection upload

Reported by: chris.helenius@… Owned by: team
Priority: minor Milestone:
Component: Core Version: tested
Keywords: relation, upload Cc:

Description

1: I added several contiguous ways into an existing relation (Sininen tie (2568107)) http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/relation/2568107
No nodes moved or ways split, Command Stack includes only "Change relation route ("Sininen tie"…)"

2: Keeping ways selected, I hit Upload selection

3: "No changes to upload."

When I choose Upload data, I do get the standard uploading dialogue with "1 Object to modify: route ("Sininen tie"…)", so a minor bug, but this doesn't keep the changesets in smaller sizes.

Replying to chris.helenius@…:

You need to select the relation, as it is the only modified (changed) object. The ways were not modified, i.e. the message is OK.

When I choose Upload data, I do get the standard uploading dialogue with "1 Object to modify: route ("Sininen tie"…)", so a minor bug, but this doesn't keep the changesets in smaller sizes.

There should be no differences weather you select all modified objects and "upload selection" or simply use "upload data".

Thanks, good to know.
(sorry for bothering with a triviality)
