Using JOSM with sharable computers in a classroom, the preference file keeps the information about the openstreetmap account. This do not assure OSM database integrety. Also, the trainers cannot follow-up easily the trainees activities (ie, who is logged, daily statistics, etc.).
A Public option at startup of JOSM would take care of this and would have the effect to erase openstreetmap account information.
