Reverting a changeset moves nodes randomly

Reported by: Cobra Owned by: Upliner

Description

When reverting a changeset, some nodes get moved around in a seemingly random way, leading to bizarre results like the one in the attached screenshot.
This is the result of reverting changeset 15875597, but it happened with other changesets in the same way.

The nodes being moved around haven't been changed in the changeset I wanted to revert and should be left unmodified.

This happens the same way each time I try to revert a given changeset. There's no difference between reverting in a layer with the complete region already loaded and starting from scratch without any data downloaded before.

At the moment, the reverter plugin isn't usable at all and damages data in a quite nasty way.
