Hi, thanks for your contribution!

The original intention of this plugin was to help the mapper choose the right tags. E.g. if you forget the correct tag for Slovak sign B23, you can just click on it and get maxwidth=* and maybe a link to the wiki for more explanation. So for the first preset, I selected only those signs that are interesting to map and did not stick too much to the official catalog. Of course you can also include all signs for completeness, then the user simply has to scroll a bit more. ;)
Maybe I can add an extra option where the user can choose between a full set of signs and a selection of the most useful?

You have added tag information for a couple of road signs already, is it work in progress? In my opinion, the preset will be much more useful, when the tag data is (more or less) complete.

User friendly selection of country preset is not implemented yet, so it may take a few days, before I can include your work in the plugin.

more or less its work in progress, but traffic_sign tags are all there. Idea is: if, mapper don't know it's better put just sign tag in OSM and then someone can fix if later. For many "true" tags, mapper must know a lot of other info then just sign on street, for example, speed limit: from just one sign you don't know where speed limits ends etc.. so I made full set of signs...

switch to select between full/useful will be perfect option, also in "full" mode put there some text about incomplete of "true" tags with link to possibilities of add them (track,mail,wiki).

Ok, in some situations it may be useful to tag individual signs, but in general it is better to map properly, i.e. check from where to where the speed limit is valid and tag the road segment directly.

There is now a filter option ([o29230]), so the user can restrict the selection to useful signs. By default, signs are "useful" if they have a <tag> element. You can override this with an attribute for the sign element (see ​README).
