Input method support

Description
In most gnome applications, it is possible to switch for example to the Amharic input method via right click - Input Methods - Amharic
In JOSM this is not possible.
Also it might make sense to define a default input method for name tags like "name:am"

Sure it is an OS feature and I did not ask about reimplementation.
I believe JOSM has to somehow enable this OS feature, cause there it is not working
Please reopen.

Okay I seem to be able to type Amharic in Xubuntu following these steps:
1) apt install m17n
2) Language Settings -> IBus as input method
3) IBUS Settings > add amharic, use Super+Space for switching
4) Now press Windows-Space to switch
But: The Amharic letters are still not being displayed and I do not know where to change the font JOSM uses for the UI

With java-openjdk 11 instead of Oracle Java 8 it is working fine... so it can be left closed.
This is an OS feature. We wont reimplement this in JOSM.
