Should be fixed in the meanwhile. Please make sure that you're using the latest plugin version.

Just found the version of the wikipedia plugin I use:

  28488

JOSM preferences tells me that this is the latest version of the plugin.

Rebuilt jar in [o28500], hope that fixes this issue. You should be able to update to plugin version 28492.

Updated plugin to 28492. Still the same error here.

Ok.I've updated josm to 5356, wikipedia plugin is still 28492

I've renamed the preferences and josm created new ones.

I still cannot open wikipedia pages with spaces

Wikipedia: opening http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neues Schloss (Tettnang)
Wikipedia: opening http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tettnang
Warning: Desktop class is not supported. Platform dependent fall back for open url in browser.
Wikipedia: opening http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landkreis Tettnang

Only the page Tettnang works fine. The other two don't work.

Resolution: fixed
Status: reopenedclosed

Finally understood the problem: Error occurred (only) for articles which were obtained via "Coordinates".

[o28506], [o28507].
