problem with low resolution

I'm using JOSM on my netbook with a max resolution of 1024x600.
It's hard to use JOSM because the menus "think" that the mouse is at another place. Hard to deiscribe xD
You can klick normally on a menu it extends but close almost intsantly because in the sub menu it's like my mouse is 2cm more to thee right. Doesn't seem to be a problem of the resolution.
I ask someone else with a netbook and he didn't have this problem.
I'm using Linux Mint 12 on and Asus Aspire One D257.

Especially, your problem with the mouse sounds like a bug in some "other software".

Did you try it with an empty/new preferences directory (Reset preferences) ?

Please, always add more info to a ticket ! At least the first three blocks of the Status Report are needed.
