Description
A site-relation makes it possible to combine different objects. Mostly the main object is always available as a node in the database. It would be a nice feature to copy & paste key=value-pairs from nodes (the main object) to relations.

You can do so. Copy the node, select the relation and call "Paste Tags" function.
Where can I find this "Paste Tags" function?

We have an online help, which is linked very prominently from JOSM. Also this trac has a search function. And also Google has a search function.
