Description
It would be helpful to have this to distinguish between multiple search toolbar buttons. It wasn't immediately obvious to me how to add this in SearchAction.java

Yes, currently only icon and name are configurable - all other is just a list of parameters, searchExpression can be one of many... I can only add long name like "Search for building=yes" when creating button from search dialog.
But in this case long searches can lead to ugly tooltips and action in preferences will look bad too.

You can give the button a name and a icon, when configuring it in toolbar preferences.
