Allow turning off odbl=clean color highlighting temporary in licensechange plugin

I'm just curios, but can a way be added to turn off the odbl=clean highlighting temporarily when you're editing a file? It would make it sometimes easier to find things that you still need to fix in an area.

I was thinking of something that advance users only could trigger in the "Setting Preferences" area of JOSM. Something like "licensechange.odblclean.highlighting=false" (*=true for it to be turned back on) so the highlighting could be turned off for awhile and then be turned on again when the person wants to.

Do you think this might be possible?
