Description

Please, move the option "show object id" back to normal preference option.

Even for us, it is not good if a normal user has to enter expert-mode to get a clue about the objects-id. I know there are other ways to determine the ID but these are more hidden and a user needs more knowledge about JOSM.

I think it should be a expert option. "Expert" is everything that isn't absolutely necessary when using JOSM the first times.

Actually, I used Josm for a about a year without going to look&feel and drawing preferences, so they are all expert. They are only used by few, but some of them are more useful than others (like id)

You can restore old behaviour if really needed.

Maybe we should open a separate ticket "Moving some preferences to expert mode" to make a decision which preferences should be expert?

Modify Ticket

Change Properties
Set your email in Preferences
Action
as closed The owner will remain team.
as The resolution will be set.
The resolution will be deleted. Next status will be 'reopened'.

Add Comment
E-mail address and name can be saved in the Preferences .
