Spacebar no longer toggles layer visibility

Description
Until recently, after toggling a layer, spacebar would repeat the action. This was useful for panning around and turning a layer on and off to compare to aerials, for example. Now spacebar no longer does anything, and only a more complicated shortcut will toggle a layer.

Keep mouse cursor over layer dialog.
This isn't a solution if I'm panning around.

Probably a new behaviour of the focus caused this error. Formerly the focus was moved into the layer list onto the layer entry which was made invisible. So a SPACE was able to toggled the visibility.
Currently the focus does not move any more when changing the layer visibility with a keyboard shortcut. If the focus is on the layer entry, then the spacebar is still able to toggle.
This behaviour is fine.
