Keyboard-Shortcut "S" for "Symmetry" cannot be deactivated/reused

Description
the new tested version switched the shortcut key for "select" from "s" to "shift+s". while this change itself isn't any good since the select function is a much more used command than the symmetry function, i even can't change it back to "s" for selection, because i can't remove the keyboard shortcut for symmetry.
please change the keyboard shortcut for "select" back to "s" or at leased make it possible to to so with custom keyboard shortcuts.

as stated above i can't change the symmetry shortcut. all controls for changing it are deactivated. i have no idea from which plugin this function is from. i reverted back to the previous tested version and there symmetry has shift+s assigned.

Please, try to find out the plugin containing this function (by deactivating your plugins step by step). Thanks

Hmm, it seems that my Symmetry function is the one you are searching. But it has shortcut Alt-Shift-S (to minimize interferention) and has no conflicts with other plugins (I installed tlot of them) and core.
Can you show the log of conflicts (output of "java -jar josm-latest.jar" command)?

i have already reverted back to the previous stable version. will try upgrading to latest stable again later.

hm, strange. after upgrading again, the shortcuts seem unchanged now. i think, the only difference is, that last time i updated the plugins before updating josm.

Select shortcut has not been changed. Simply reassign the shortcut for symmetry (which must be a plugin function) to something else. Select will get its shortcut back.
Report results.
For conflicts it depends on a lot of factors which functions gets which key.
