ImportImagePlugin: Import multiple images at the same time

The ImportImagePlugin can currently only open one image at the time. It would be helpful if one could choose several ones from the "Open file" dialog.
Plus, the plugin should remember the directory images were last imported from. It's pretty annoying having to browse through half your filesystem over and over again.

By now, the PicLayer plugin can handle those files which were once ImportImagePlugin's specialties, and works fine. Plus, ImportImagePlugin appears unmaintained. Never mind.
