mouse button stops to work

During some editing (happened 2 times, first after hours, second time after 10 minutes) the mouse button stops to work. I was able to save with ctrl+s but xkill didn't work and even after a kill of java/josm the mouse button didn't work so I had to reboot. The mouse-pointer was still moving. No error in JOSM or console displayed.
